Consider This: March 17, 2000: Time Corp.
announced today that Life magazine would cease monthly
publication. It would still publish special issues. Life
died because it no longer had a soul. It was strictly an
cash cow and the cow no longer gives milk.
Have I gone digital (the camera) yet? Nope. Here's one
photographer's reasons for not going digital.

The Bet: Jim Clark stated on
CNNdotCom (first week of January 2000) that still
photography film will all but disappear in 2 to 5 years.
I would like to make a One Million dollar bet with Mr.
Clark that he is wrong. I will go farther and bet that
film will still be with us in 25 years.
